IBM and Macrologic Technology Update

IBM on August 30, 2017, co-presented with Macrologic Diversified Technologies, Inc., it presented its IBM System Storage solutions and IBM OpenPower Linux.
Mr. Edward Q.Navarro, IBM Client Technical Specialist, delved on how data is currently considered a lucrative commodity. As the world is engulfed with vast quantities of data, IBM proffers it Storage solutions. IBM Storage solutions provide the speed and performance of ready data access with the agility and efficiency of the hybrid cloud and software-defined storage. By connecting data across any architecture, storage from IBM delivers deeper insights faster — giving you the edge to outthink and outperform your competition and win in the cognitive era.
Afterwards, Mr. Mervin Bunag, IBM POWER Technical Advocate, then showcased the IBM OpenPOWER Linux, which are servers designed to move data faster, and new servers with OpenPower features. These servers integrate seamlessly into client’s existing datacenter and cloud environment. Built to scale data-intensive workflows, these server powerhouses deliver superior performance in a smaller footprint at significantly lower cost than x86 options.
As the world is being awash in oceans of data, establishing one’s enterprise storage environment is now of growing importance. MDTI, together with its partners, aims to help you enhance storage efficiently to allow better business mobility.
